“Beautiful and comfortable with perfect and hospitable host”

 

We were extremely comfortable, happy and grateful to Mickey and his family during our stay this Xmas.

House is nestled in an up market residential area very close to a church, supermarket, restaurants and city center (esp Dongdaemun subway station).

We really enjoyed the walk to and from the station as it was a very scenic route.

Closest station is Hansung university station with a lift at exit 5 which made it easy as we had two baby prams.

Hyehwa station is another train stop close by with loads of restuarants and shopping.

We could get supper like pizza, fried chicken, beef soup (24 hrs).

 

Danny (mickey's father) always popped by in the morning to ensure we knew how to get to our destination and even offered to drive us but we declined.

He even brought us out to a mountain top to view the city which was approx 30mins drive from the place. My husband caught a flu and had an ear infection on the first day we arrived.

Mickey took the trouble to bring my husband to a few places so that he could see a doctor and specialist in order for the right medicine to be prescribed.

The hospitality and family warmth of mickeys parents has left us an impression which is unforgettable (From the ginger tea to the sweets and chocolates they left for us).

There is also free laundry services!!!!!

 

The place comes with a sumptuous korean breakfast every morning prepared by mickey and his mother and they were generous with their servings.

Place is very clean and has a warm homely feel. there is a beautiful garden and it was filled with snow when we were there. the kids loved it! fridge is filled with cereal and juices but we didn't even have time to have any as the breakfast filled us up every morning.

Coffee and tea is also provided. Place has good heating system which kept us really warm during the cold winter.

Our two young sons aged two and five were really comfortable.

Good for families as you can have the entire floor to yourselves if you booked three rooms. It felt just like home.

 I would highly recommend this place to anyone as there are only positive experiences I can remember.
